Answers to the questions we are asked most often. If yours is not here, please do not hesitate to get in touch.
Every commission begins with a private design consultation — at your home or our Manchester studio. We discuss the space, how you use it, and what you are looking for. From there we develop a full design proposal: drawings, materials, finishes and a fixed price. Once the design is agreed, we move into production. We keep you informed at every stage.
Yes. The first consultation is completely free and carries no obligation whatsoever. It is simply an opportunity to talk through your project, understand what is possible, and see whether we are the right fit for each other.
Timescales vary depending on the scope and complexity of the commission. A straightforward fitted wardrobe might be designed, built and installed within six to eight weeks. A larger whole-room commission — a home bar, a complete bedroom suite, a fitted study — typically takes longer in both design and production. We will give you a realistic and honest timeline at the outset, and we work to it.
Yes. Every commission is quoted at a fixed price before we begin. There are no hidden costs, no variations added after the fact. The price we agree is the price you pay.
We design and build bespoke fitted furniture across a wide range: fitted bedrooms, walk-in wardrobes and dressing rooms, home bars, media walls, home offices and studies, fitted living rooms, in-frame kitchens, wine cellars and commercial interiors. If your project does not fit neatly into one of those categories, please ask — we work across a broad range of spaces and commissions.
Off-the-shelf furniture is made to standard sizes for an average room. Bespoke furniture is made for your room — to its exact dimensions, in materials you choose, designed around the way you actually use the space. There are no filler panels, no wasted inches, no compromises forced by catalogue sizes. You can read more about this in our article Bespoke or Off-the-Shelf? Why Made-to-Measure Wins.
Yes. Every piece is designed and built in our Manchester workshop, by our own team. We do not outsource production or use subcontractors. The same people who draw the design build it, and the same people who build it install it.
We welcome visits to our Manchester studio by appointment. You are also welcome to browse our project portfolio online, where you will find photography from a wide range of completed commissions.
Our studio is based in Irlam, Manchester, and the majority of our commissions are across Greater Manchester, Cheshire, Lancashire and the wider North West. We also take selected commissions throughout the United Kingdom. If you are outside the North West and considering a project, please get in touch — we are happy to discuss what is possible.
We stand behind every piece we make. If something is not right after installation, we will come back and put it right — that is a straightforward commitment, not a clause buried in small print. Please ask at consultation for full details of the warranty applicable to your commission.
The simplest way is to get in touch — by phone, email or the contact form on this site. We will arrange a free initial consultation at a time that suits you, at your home or our Manchester studio. There is no obligation and no pressure. We will listen, ask questions, and give you an honest picture of what is possible.
