Solid Oak Table · Cream Painted Joinery · Walnut Backing · Knurled Brass Hardware · Integrated Screen · Garden Views
Collinson Grant has been advising major organisations on performance, restructuring and profit improvement for more than fifty years. Their boardroom at Worsley needed to reflect exactly that — the quiet confidence of an organisation that has earned its reputation over decades. Hafferty Interiors was commissioned to create a meeting room that would serve as both a functional workspace and a physical expression of that fifty-year heritage.

The full-width boardroom table is the centrepiece — solid oak, with a rich visible grain and substantial turned legs that give it an immediate sense of permanence and quality. Integrated data and power units sit flush within the table surface, keeping the working environment clean and free of trailing cables during even the most technology-intensive presentations.
The room is flooded with natural light from floor-to-ceiling glazed doors that frame views of the mature garden beyond. It is a boardroom that feels calm, grounded and human — a deliberate counterpoint to the more pressured, enclosed environments that many consultancy firms work from. The garden view is not an accident; it is part of the design.
All cabinetry throughout the boardroom is finished in a warm cream paint — a classic, timeless choice that sits in easy harmony with the oak grain of the table, the walnut-toned panel backings and the natural light of the garden-facing room. It is the kind of finish that ages well, that improves in character over the years of use a working boardroom demands.
The full-width wall unit and standalone bookcase carry warm walnut-toned back panels — providing rich depth and colour behind the cream shelving frames. Knurled antique brass bar handles on every drawer and door add warmth and a quality of touch that rewarded every interaction. Collinson Grant's publications and client materials are displayed on the open shelving, presenting the firm's body of work with the same quiet confidence the room itself embodies.

On the shelving unit, a single object speaks more clearly than any branding exercise could — the original Collinson Grant Associates Limited founding plaque, dated 1970 to 1985. Displayed without ceremony on the open shelving alongside the firm's current publications, it connects the boardroom to the founding principles that have made Collinson Grant one of the most enduring management consultancies in the United Kingdom.
This is what the image named 'company heritage building bricks foundation' captures — not literal brickwork, but the tangible foundation of the company itself. A boardroom that holds the firm's history as naturally as it holds its present work, making every meeting in it a reminder of what Collinson Grant has built and what it continues to stand for.
