The Thompson walk-in wardrobe begins with a secret. Access is through a concealed door integrated seamlessly into the bedroom joinery — from outside, there is no indication of what lies beyond. The moment it opens, the full scale and quality of the space is revealed: a complete walk-in wardrobe in rich American walnut, built to the highest Hafferty standard.
The walnut specification was chosen for its warmth and its natural character — no two panels identical, the varied grain running through every door and surface giving the space an organic quality that feels grounded and beautiful. Against this backdrop, the central stone island provides the functional and visual heart of the room.
The central stone island provides more than a practical surface — its natural material grounds the design and provides a counterpoint to the warmth of the walnut, the combination giving the room a richness and depth that purely timber spaces cannot achieve. A bespoke upholstered ottoman is integrated into the joinery at the far end, providing a place to sit while dressing.
Seamless LED lighting runs throughout — above the hanging rails, beneath every shelf, behind every door profile — so that the entire room is evenly and beautifully lit at all times.
